Jersey Revealed

Anthony Morrow just put it on his twitter, who cares if the warriors wanted to do anything ha..

and ehhh http://tweetphoto.com/29169892

Looks very Indiana Pacers with that collar.

I'm hoping for some yellow away jerseys (for the sole reason there are too many blue teams in the league).

from what I've heard, blue is the road and yellow will be the road alt.

No because when the Irish came to Ireland and first came in contact with the leprechaun people, they didn't take their land away and force them to move west. Instead, the two groups learned to assimilate peacefully. However, certain tribes of the leprechaun refused to taint the pure blood and moved north into the forests of Ireland, only to be seen rarely, usually at the same time of a rainbows appearance and occasionally at the factories of Lucky Charms.

Well, it's official, the lack of trolley numbers makes this rebrand an absolute failure.

Like I said before, I'm not comfortable about the transportation mixed metaphor, unless trolleys do indeed cross the Bay Bridge. You're being pulled apart by horses if you're trying to pursue a Bay Area identity by emphasizing the Bay Bridge and the old trolleys. I mean, at that point, you might as well go full-tilt and incorporate a homeless IT worker ghost-riding the whip through a gay pride parade.

Trolleys did use the lower deck of the bridge for a couple of decades (with automobiles sharing the upper deck) so the trolley doesn't make sense.

And don't stereotype the entire Bay Area too much... :therock:

Seeing it on an actual jersey actually is warming me up to the concept. It's nice to depart from the cookie cutter templates that left with the Toronto, Vancouver/Memphis, phoenix, and Houston rebrandings.

I just don't get the hate. Sure, it's not perfect. But it's not bad either.

These qualify as cookie cutter templates?

Well, it's official, the lack of trolley numbers makes this rebrand an absolute failure. Seriously, you can't convince me that the old trolley numbers would look uglier or goofier than that awful stretched version of Copperplate. They didn't even use Copperplate Condensed!

Lazy, lazy, lazy.

One word, legibility. When they wore the trolley car numbers on a throwback a few years ago it was nearly impossible to read the numbers. Copperplate sucks (though I'm a fan of it on my Blue Jackets' jerseys), but at least you can tell what numbers each player is wearing.

Real poorly executed...well, ya blew it, Golden State.

Nice comment by the way Conrad, ;)

Anyone else catch a minor-league hockey jersey vibe from this?

(And damn, RedGoat...that was some cold :censored:. ^_^)

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁
