Armadillos are the s**t. And I think their features would allow for a pretty stylish logo.

The fictional Texas State University team in the film "Necessary Roughness" was the Armadillos. Armadillos is also used for San Saba High School in San Angelo, Texas-- the only high school in the whole state to use that name.

Shouldn't that be "Dillos"?

what about the lynx or ocelot?

It is difficult to be underused when you are geographically limited, as those cats are. Think about it this way, if the animal is not domesticated (bulldog), then it is hard to be known if you were not in a circus or in a zoo in the early 1900's, when sport within US universities began.

Titans for Fullerton is "outside the box" and done well.
