Yeah, I know that's what the mothership says, but it's wrong there as well.Although that version of the the Yankee top hat logo was introduced in the mid-1970s, the first version of that logo dates back to 1946.It has been mistakenly credited as making its debut on the 1947 Spring Training Roster book, and that error persists. We may quibble on exactly when that particular version of the Yankee home jersey logo was created, but it wasn't 1936: The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
