6. TCU

7. Auburn

8. Michigan State

9. Utah

10. South Carolina

Here comes the part of the year where Boise and TCU begin to slip. TCU has already lost some ground to Nebraska and this week they lost some more to Oklahoma. Boise also fell to number 4 based on strength of schedule and the fact that I don't think they've played a challenging defense yet. I'm confident that Ohio State, Ore, Neb, Okla and most likely South Carolina's defenses would all severely challenge Boise.

Utah crept up slightly and Michigan State and South Carolina made moves into the top ten with big wins this last weekend.

No love for Alabama. If you're the defending National Champion and you lose a game to a team ranked 19th, you should be falling to around 12-15th at the least, unless there are some crazy circumstances.

I hate to put Auburn over Bama because I think Alabama could beat them but right now Auburn deserves to be ranked ahead just because they beat South Carolina and Bama didn't. I also put SC ahead of Bama because they have the same record and they beat them. Boise State is in my Top 10 for the first time although I'm still not buying them as a top 5 team. Oregon's my new #1, they have just looked better all year then anyone else IMO, I also think Nebraska is doing a little bit better then Ohio State so they are my #2.

5. Alabama

6. Nebraska

7. South Carolina

8. Utah

9. Boise State

10. TCU

My "dream" season would be for every team in the country to have 2-3 losses except NU and OU, who could just rematch in the National Title Game. B)

I know you're biased and all that, but really? What objective basis do you have for placing Oklahoma in the 1 hole?
