I wish I could produce a Big Ten Network football telecast just so I could fix their "nat sound." (that's TV talk for natural sound i.e. crowd noise, bands, etc.) For some reason every telecast on the Big Ten Network sounds like it's being played in front of 500 people. Their telecasts do a lousy job of capturing the "atmosphere" of a college football game. I have to think that the Illinois crowd is pretty fired up by the fact that their team is hanging with Ohio State but you'd never know it watching this game. Sorry but it drives me nuts.

Update: Ohio State just scored to take the lead.

Hey guys I'm new here but the Canes just tied it up at 14 against Clemson :) GO CANES!

I used to hate the Hurricanes. But now they've grown on me.

Oregon vs. Stanford: Who will win? My pick is Oregon.

I don't really think either team is that good. Oregon struggled to defeat Arizona State, and I wasn't too impressed with Stanford seeing them in person last Saturday.

That said, I'll take the Trees.

I'm pretty happy with the way Illinois hung in there. They definately had their chances, but didn't convert any of them. It was a really good crowd too, but there were a lot of Ohio State fans that helped get the sellout.

I picked Stanford to win the Pac 10 so I'm also on the trees tonight.

This Michigan-Indiana game is ridiculous. Watch if you can.

If Illinois could have put together any kind of offense they win that game. The Ilini certainly had the right defensive scheme to shut down Ohio State's offense. Luckily the Buckeyes D was able to save the day. In any case, that game was pure misery to watch. Both teams played poorly and the announcers were a disaster.

It looks like Michigan's start is another non-conference illusion. Indiana is giving them all they can handle. Michigan has no defense. None.

In the big games tonight, I'll take Alabama and Oregon. And they'll both win big.

I usually don't pay much attention to the polls until Halloween or so...but no way in hell is LSU the 10th-best team in the country.

:cursing:

Michigan's (lack of) defense.

I haven't really watched all of this game, but in 2 minutes I've seen two completely blown coverages leading to big plays. One that's tied this game.

Good lord LSU can't manage the clock to save their asses.

Lucky for them, Tennessee had too many men on the field.

It's like a Three Stooges act...

lol @ LSU.

What a disastrous ending to the game for LSU.

edit: Oh my god... 12 players on the field! 13, actually.

What a game... and LSU wins it!

The miracle in Death Valley. Les Miles keeps his job for another day.

Denard is the first quarterback in history to have two games of 200 passing yards and 200 rushing yards in their career. He has done it in 5 games as a starter.
