Styliezed NYJ Logo on Ebay

Found this logo on a hoodie on Ebay never seen it before. Did someone just take the Mets NY logo and change it or have the Jets used it in their past I cant find it anywhere so i'm assuming its fake. Looks nice though IMO.

Looks like someone just took the Mets NY logo and altered it into a J. I don't think the Jets ever had a logo like that, so the "throwback" is misleading. More like a fauxback.

There's a photo floating around here somewhere of Weeb wearing wither a cap or a t-shirt with that logo.

Now that you mention that I think that's where i've seen it on the NFL Films NYJ History DVD. I'm going to go through it right now.

That is Charley Winner who was Jets assitant coach and then Head coach from 73' to 75'

So apparently they used that logo during that time period.

I've seen a similar logo for New Jersey that imitates the Yankees logo, but with an NJ.

Charley Winner of course posted a 9-14 record as Jets head coach. Not very aptly named I guess...

Its not a Jets logo its a modified Mets logo made to look like a New Jersey logo.

Thats not the same logo as in that image. That's a NYJ logo, the J looks like a combo of a Y and a J.

The logo in the image is a NY Mets logo with a crooked tail.
