footballfiji Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 You'd get the University School Suns in South Florida: Plainsman Parking Lot. Auburn Baseball Blog
The Fixer Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 haha this is really cool. Great job! How you edited pictures was a very nice touch. It's just really cool to think about. An alternate logo might be a nice addition though. I can't really tell what the mascot is supposed to be but I like it haha! and is that a black and white Florida Gators????I'd love to see more concepts like this.edited
footballfiji Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Not a concept. This is an actual school in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Plainsman Parking Lot. Auburn Baseball Blog
The Fixer Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 whoah-yeah just noticed this was in sports logos.Still I like this.
dfwabel Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Since it is a school in south Florida, is shouldn't be '+ Captain Morgans" as that is a Diageo brand. Replace it with Bacardi, who has their US HQ in Miami.
dgthree Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 The school is actually in Davie and it is part of Nova Southeastern University. But the "merging" is funny.
dbackdiehard17 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 GREATEST. THING. EVER. (That is one weird looking kid)... lol High Quality Entertainment for the masses.
LC Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Well that's not a rip off at all lolIMO the only rip off in this thread would be the team in black with Florida's "Gators" script. They're not using Oregon's font, or even the Ducks name. They're not using their exact "O" logo, like many high schools are. They are using their own identity to look like to Oregon, and not stealing any of Oregon's property. I guess someone more knowledgeable on the subject will say it's taking Oregon's idea/style alone that's the problem, but I personally have no problem with this from a high school. I think it all looks great, except for the fact they're using green for Suns. Also, I'm not really seeing any Miami connection in this at all other than the use of a U. The school is University School, so of course they'll use a U. There are no other UMiami elements in this.
