leopard88
I saw this logo on a car window sticker this morning and liked it immediately. I have no idea if it is new and/or who designed it, but I thought I'd share.A better image is available on the website.Shippensburg Athletics Most Liked Content of the Day -- February 15, 2017, August 21, 2017, August 22, 2017 ///// Proud Winner of the CCSLC Post of the Day Award -- April 8, 2008 Originator of the Upside Down Sarcasm Smilie -- November 1, 2005
BBTV
They've had that logo for a while now, not sure how many years. Went there once to visit a friend... instantly saw why so many of thier students took road trips out to IUP or PSU to party. Camden Crazy
Pennsylvania has THE worst state school system in the country. No notable schools (PSU isn't included), just a bunch of tiny dime-a-dozen schools in tiny boring towns. I'm stuck in the black hole known as Bloomsburg, and the whole scene is terrible. Maybe it's because I grew up here, I don't know. But yeah, Ship's logo is pretty good.

It's the largest of the SSHE schools, which helped, but the whole (otherwise boring) town was set up around the school, and there was parties and events all over the place. If you could stomach being around 14,000 hillbillies, it was a lot of fun. Pittsburgh isn't too far either, but again with the hillbillies... I have friends that go to Millersville, Lock Haven, and Penn State, and more often than not we all find ourselves going to U. Park for the weekends. Some of us were transplanted there against our will. The rest were white trash. But yeah, living in Indiana and going to IUP was a blast from a party perspective. Korkie
Kutztown man here. Proud alma mater of Andre Reed, John Mobley, and Ryan Vogelsong. Going to West Chester University for grad classes. Anywho, Ship's logo is fantastic. I do love KU's burgandy and gold look, but the logo is lame. Isn't California of PA's mascot the Vulcans? That is awesome. Here is the official PSAC website: PSAC "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. I was floored). Seriously though, that Shippensburg logo is a real favorite of mine. Maybe it's because of my time at Mercyhurst, being the Lakers and never really having a logo that showed that very well, but it's well executed and snazzy. Love it! I'll respect any opinion that you can defend.

Got laid and drunk more often than I went to class.I was referring more to the student body, the overwelming majority of which was from small Western PA (and some central) towns. I guess that does include Indiana, but I'll say this - on the hillbilly / WT meter, Blairsville pwns Indiana. By a LOT.(please don't say you're from Blairsville.... I don't want to have to back off of my statement and apologize, or say something like "well, I didn't mean everyone from Blairsville...") Maybe it's because I grew up here, I don't know.Sounds a lot like the UW system. It's basically UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee then 10-or-so schools in towns that have nothing going on outside of campus life and then another dozen 2-year schools in even smaller and more insignificant towns that have nothing even on campus.Of course, some of those campuses specialize in fields that can make things interesting. For example, I used to date a girl that went to UW-Stevens Point, which began as a horticulture school meaning a lot of its students know how to grow ANYTHING... which they do... hence their nickname UW-Pot
