jamesbinga Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 If most people really stop noticing ads on jerseys, they'll get bigger or shinier or get flashing lights or something, because...you know... they're advertisements.I see your point, and if I was used to jerseys without ads on them I would probably be skeptical as well, but the photo bellow shows the same team in the early 1990's. The same ad (SGIO) can be seen on the left hand side of the jersey. I'm not saying that the NBA or any sport will keep small ads on jerseys before switching to bigger and flashier ones, but I remain optimistic that it'll be similar to the AFL. It was bland with no reason to be bland. Logo wasn't anything special either. The red looked sharper, the pewter wasn't as overdone like I thought before in photoshoots, and the number font wasn't as horrible while watching the game.
