I love both the skating and robo penguins, but they can't coexist, unless one is only used exclusively for throwback purposes. Having two penguin logos in different styles is redundant, and it detracts from the overall unity of their branding.

The Robopen worked just fine as a shoulder patch on the pre-Edge uniforms precisely because it was just a shoulder patch. In a small enough dose, it can co-exist with the skating penguin perfectly.

Another one about the NFL:

I like the old Chargers jerseys better than the new ones. Something about how that lightning bolt looks on a darker background. I just think it's cool.

I also like that the lightning bolt is primarily white instead of yellow.

The only changes the Rams need to make are to remove the toilet bowl collar and fix the stripes on the blue pants (one solid gold stripe). None of this retro greatest show on turf or blue and white stuff.

And wear gold pants and dump the mono blue look.

Didn't want to pollute the Ohio State TV number thread with this, but it fits here:

The large TV numbers tOSU had in the 90's look dumb.

Golf should ditch its current dress code. Golf is on a steep decline, let us play in t-shirts, shorts, & sandals if we want.

No, depends on what kind of shorts, and no.

There's no rule for most courses that say you can't wear shorts, it's just that the pros choose not to wear them

Sorry, I'm on an iPad

Not sure how unpopular this is, but red hats with blue bills are the most beautiful thing and there should be way more teams that wear them

I hardly doubt that's unpopular. I'm glad they went with normal-sized numbers later on, though.

I totally agree. In fact, I'll go further and say that there are too many teams whose colors are [blue, or in the the Bucks' case green] and red who don't use red enough. The Bucks' old red alternate had some beveling issues but I loved that it was red and still had that little bit of green, and I've also slowly grown on the Angels being a red team.

The PGA has a dress code that mandates pants so the pros don't choose to wear pants.

Your average schlub can wear whatever they want when they play. Nobody's stopping anyone from wearing shorts on the course. I see it more frequently than I see pants in fact.

With colors and patterned pants coming back into fashion and new golf shoes that actually look like athletic footwear I'd say golf looks better now than it did 20 or 10 years ago.
