Tebow's starting vs. The Raiders, I'm getting in my bomb shelter.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he went completely ape:censored: on the Raiders tomorrow. I mean, they're better, but they're still the Raiders. Who knows where they'll play. And not that I ever expect him to do anything in the NFL, but how awesome predictable would it be if he came out with a bang just to prove all the doubters wrong when it comes to his pro success and Josh McDaniel's decision making... Of course the high would only last a week or two when they'll eventually get murdered by the Texans or Chargers, but the media would have such an awful field day with that. I can see it now. LOL @ McNabb. LO f'n L.

This is what happens when you don't have a coach covering up for your flaws and taking the blame for your ineptitude.

'covering up for your flaws' could read 'coaching to your strengths'! Did almost sound like BBTV paying a compliment to Andy Reid, which in itself is quite unusual!!!

Jesus, Collie got lit up again. They need to IR him fast, guy needs to be away from contact for many moons before he should be cleared for game action again.

Also for all the Bears haters out there who think the Bears are hypocrites for bitching about playing at TCF field, the Vikings punter had some pretty harsh words:

Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, who was critical of the decision to play there during the week, called the field "unplayable" on his personal Twitter account. At this point, however, it's unknown what, if anything can be done about the situation. Kluwe added that he has been muzzled, asked not to talk about the field on his Twitter account that has the handle chriswarcraft.

"Serious time -- All respect to the people that cleared the field and got it ready, you did an amazing job. That being said, it's unplayable," Kluwe wrote on his Twitter account.

"The field is as hard as concrete an hour and a half after they took the tarp off, and anyone that hits their head is getting a concussion," he continued. "I find it interesting that the NFL can claim an emphasis on player safety, and then tell us the field is fine. It's beyond hypocritical.

"I can only hope, however unlikely, that no one gets catastrophically injured at the trainwreck that's about to take place tomorrow night.

"To everyone -- that was a totally serious post on the field conditions. It is like walking on concrete. They took the tarp off at the same time they'll take it off before the game. The problem isn't heating it, it's retaining that heat.

"Like a lot of you are saying, hopefully the snow will at least provide a cushion tomorrow night :)

"The difference between TCF and fields you mentioned is they were built for cold weather. They have heating coils so no freezing.

"I've been asked not to tweet anymore about the field so as not to distract teammates (who were there) and I will honor that."

Yeah, this is why guys need to sit out more than a couple of weeks following concussions. And I love all the "OMG HIT TO THE HEAD!!! EJECT THE PLAYER!!!" Facebook statuses that are flying in here in Indy. I didn't know that a guy's stomach was his head.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

Rex Grossman - 300 yards passing, 4 touchdowns, 1 pick. Who saw that coming?

DeSean Jackson... you have got to be kidding me.

Down 24-3 at the half and 31-10 halfway through the 4th, the Eagles come back to win on the last play of regulation.

I guess you could call it the "Miracle at the New Meadowlands".

The NFL's most consistently inconsistent team does it again. And with that, they may have effectively just played themselves out of the postseason.

These are the Jaguars, after all...they have a habit of doing exactly what they did today--getting all pumped up only to wilt when the bright light shines directly on them. This ain't the first time the division title was theirs for the taking, and they ended up crapping the pot. I will say this, though: those Colts did a damn good job of shutting down the Jaguars' running game. They came out knowing what they had to do, and did it. Peyton doing what he did was a given. But consider this: coming into today, the Jags had the fewest three-and-outs of any team in the league, scored the most final-two-minute points in the league, and all things considered, probably was the most opportunistic team--consider the game-winning 59-yard field goal against these same Colts earlier this season, and the Hail Mary thing against the Texans, just to name some examples. All that went out the window today with some shoddy playcalling, more busted coverages than I've seen in a hot minute, and a general lack of purpose. Even a gift extra down, or a fake fair catch signal that turned into six Jaguar points, didn't help. I saw no aggression out of the Jags today, no real effort to impose their will on the Colts--who did come out today with an agenda. And they sho' achieved their objective.

Indy has Oakland and Tennessee to close out the season. The Jags have the 'Skins and their other nemesis, the Texans. Colts win out, they win the division. Jags lose out, they end up 8-8 (which is entirely possible). Deja vu all over again...

...and if THAT wasn't bad enough, while I was taking all that in, somehow or other, my Buccaneers managed to lose to the Lions? AT HOME?? WTF, man?? :cursing:

The Giants just choked against one of the worst teams in the league. Allowing a team whose quarterback, might I remind you, was out of the league just two short years ago, to beat you like that, is inexcusable. Imagine what would happen if the Giants actually played a good team.
