Ryoma
Chicago Cubs- Fine as they are, if only they would wear the blue alternates sparingly. Oh, also, lose the NL patch from said alternates. You don't like the NL patch? I know I'm in the minority when I say that I really like the Cubs' blue alternate, but my favorite part of that specific jersey is the NL patch. It's unique.I really like the Cubs' blue alternates too. I just think they wear them way to often. It's not an alternate if they're worn just as much as, or more then, the primary home and road set. I can understand that. I don't really mind though, considering that the Cubs' road uni is so dreadfully boring in my personal opinion.
uuh70
The two things i would really like to see is first the dodgers add the white backing on names and numbers and white backing on road scriptand also for them to add a blue alternate for select road games similar to this
Wally1912
I really think the Red Sox made a mistke when they changed from the red-lettered version of their road uniforms prior to the 2009 season. I did like the update of both the hanging sox and circle logos. The only problem now is that the BOSTON on the circle logo is RED. That would have been a smart change had they kept the old uniform set. Now, with the blue BOSTON on the shirts, I believe the logo should follow suit.Even though I personally don't like the alternate jerseys or names on the backs, I am proposing this set below. I feel if the Red Sox continue to use names on their jerseys they should switch the font to match the lettering front of the jerseys. I also really like the old double piping on the sleeves and down the placket from the Ted Williams days. The 1975 style hat seems to have many supporters out there so I am including that as an alternate.
The_Admiral
Ooh, I like the idea of Tuscan NOBs, but I'd leave the rest of the 1990-2008 design alone. No placket piping on the greys, keep the red outlined in navy, and keep the plain red stockings. I hate red becoming navy on road greys. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
Bmac
Are the Brewers by chance making any changes for next season?I just thought it was odd how this t-shirt listed the current jersey:I am probably just reading too far into this. My inner-uniform nerd is taking over. I don't really expect the Brew Crew to make any changes (especially with the new alts this season), but you never know.I like the shirt, BTW. https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043

If the Sox are hell-bent on emphasizing the blue road motif, they've got to bring back the old socks. The current red socks look weird against all that blue. And a definite NO on the Tuscan NOBs. Salty's last name would have to go almost 360 degrees around his back if they did that. The_Admiral
A borderline major leaguer more renowned for his surname (and for shtupping his high school teacher) than his play is a dumb reason to eschew a really good design element. And the blue road motif is stupid on every red-based team that does it. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
SteveR
Nationals could introduce a white crowned, red billed, alt. hat with a blue curly "W" logo.Nationals are doing a complete uniform overhaul. They did just break out a whole lot of paint to change the color of the main press box from red to blue. Granted it does blend in with a stadium full of blue seats but .....I thought they'd be better off dropping the navy blue Curly W road cap. It worked with the first road uni, which had the blue block Washington and numbers, and wasn't too far off last with the new red script Washington and numbers, since they wore blue socks and undershirts. This year, everything's red and the blue caps just clash too much.(Yeah, the Cardinals do it but I don't get the same vibe)If they took the red Curly W cap on the road, they would be able to take the red alt jerseys on the road. But if an overhaul's in the works, all that could just be moot. DustDevil61
So, are we going to be seeing the Nats go from a more red team to a blue team, or what? Here's hoping that the Padres to go brown. nybatt
One specific wish: Yankees remove the white backdrop on their road unis and lose the sleeve stripes as well. There was nothing wrong with that road uniform prior to 1973. One league-wide wish: Finally enforce a pant-cuff height regulation. As much as I prefer just below the knee I would settle for the "Buck Showalter" level: at least 4 inches showing above the cleat. Something needs to be done. As much as the NFL is criticized for their "uniform police" at each game, there is something to be said for how the league attempts to have a uniform uniform.nybatt

The BiG is already the main logo used in ads and on pretty much anything that's not an official team document (and still manages to pop up on them at times), to the point that if you were to stop someone in Milwaukee and ask them to describe "the Brewers logo," you'd probably get a description of the BiG 10 out of 9 times. Yet they've insisted on keeping their current look, even after the throwback craze died and the retro merch is still outselling their current stuff. While I agree, the current look is superior in many ways to the fondly remembered BiG looks, it seems silly to keep trying to force it on to fans who've made it clear that the BiG is the only part of the current identity they really want to embrace. fishheatcats
I want nothing more than to see "Florida" return to the Marlins road uniforms, the "F" to go back on the sleeves, and for teal to come back. One of two things is going to happen in 2012: either the Marlins will complete the transition from one of the most unique looks in baseball(pre-2003) to something bland and generic, or more likely, move to something maybe more unique but certainly guady and terrible. Moving from the teal and black scheme, simply because he thinks teal is an "80s color", is already a crime that has me giving up baseball after 2011 and never setting foot in the new ballpark until new ownership is installed and proper Marlins colors are restored. But based on Loria's self-indulgent plans for the new ballpark, on top of that there is little doubt that the Marlins new identity may be the worst in the history of baseball:I'm sorry but orange, red, green, and yellow don't have anything to do with the ocean or marlins. And if they use blue at all, they would be the 21st MLB team to use blue in some way, most of which use it heavily(I'm counting St. Louis, LAA and Philly as users of blue). You'd think after playing for 18 seasons in a giant football stadium filled with orange seats, multi-colored triangles and recently horrible Britto art plastered everywhere, the Marlins would finally get a ballpark that would fit their glorious teal and black scheme. But we had to get stuck with the "art" dealer for an owner. Flight 19 ::: Fort Lauderdale Soccer Supporters ::: DEFEND THE FORT!
Proc
NL EAST:Mets - no more black.Braves - nothingNationals - The road jerseys should have "Washington" in blue, not red.Phillies - nothingMarlins - Teal and orange. :-)NL Central:Reds - One change only, use one cap, the all-red one. Drop the black brimmed road cap.Cubs - Nothing.Cardinals - nothingPirates - These are pretty decent. Add a Roberto Clemente gold cap/black brim alternate uniform.Brewers - nothingAstros - Use the brick colored cap only. NL WEST:Dodgers - nothingRockies - more purple needed. Drop the sleeveless jerseys.Giants - nothingPadres - The only team who never has captured an identity. When I was a kid we made fun of their brown and yellow (i.e. poop and pee, hey we were kids). The blue is fine, but needs another color to stand out. Green?Diamondbacks - I despise the "D-Backs" thing. Its Diamondbacks, not D-Backs. Colors are great, but this whole thing needs to be revamped.AL EAST:Yankees - nothingRed Sox - nothing. The road grey has grown on me.Tampa Bay - nothing.Orioles - Drop the Spaghetti-O's hat.Toronto - More blue. More blue. More blue. Did I mention more blue? Drop the "T" cap.AL CENTRAL:White Sox - nothingIndians - nothing.Twins - Expand the use of the cream colored home uniform. Its a winner.Royals - Thicken the script "Royals"Tigers - Nothing, although I've always said an all-grey version of the home uniform would be a cool, alternate road uniform.AL WEST:Rangers - nothingMariners - nothingAngels - The road cap should be blue with red bill.Athletics - No more black. Liberal use of 70s green and yellow throwbacks encouraged.
doctorpeligro
This should be the wordmark on the Angels' jerseys (both road and home):It's better than the bland wordmark they currently put on the jerseys:The hats should be navy with a red bill:

AkSaber
But we had to get stuck with the "art" dealer for an owner. Also a con artist, liar, flim-flam man, and any other derisive adjective I neglected to mention. I wholeheartedly agree with you about the teal. The original Marlins' look was beautiful and unique. Now it's bland and boring. Why baseball let this man buy two teams is beyond me. The_Admiral
The ideal Cubs third: add another stripe so it goes red-white-red, throw that on a button-down, and lose the sleeve patch. Wear with white or very light grey pants. And then if you're Tom Ricketts, try adding an advertisement for Culver's. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
