I just went onto the USPTO site and made some interesting discoveries. I did a search for BROOKLYN AND BASKETBALL and found these...

Here are the logos, both of them registered by Nets Sports and Entertainment:

Those are pretty bad too.

Bad, but nowhere near as ridiculous as king size Damon Wayons dribbling off the Brooklyn Bridge. WTF!

Yeah, I kinda thought that I had seen them before. Wasn't sure.

May God bless you all and fill your hearts with faith, hope, and love!

Yikes, yikes, and yikes.

Ok... Brooklyn Knights doesn't sound too bad anymore...

No it doesn't. "The New York Knicks beat the New Yorkers"... just sounds like Amare started going beserk on some fans.

There is no way this crap is real. And we have seen the "bklyn" logos before, and I doubt a real logo would be leaked like a year before the team even moves. Anyone want to play bookie and take my bet that this team will not be named the "New Yorkers"?

Interesting to see that the ABA's planning long-term to share space with the Nets in 2012.

Wait, what? Oh good Lord.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Uh oh, I think the Toronto Planets have some competition!

That's RHI though. You expect to find the a$$ shavings of logo design in that league. Not in the NBA.

These....things....make the green, gold, and blurple recolour of the Jazz mountain logo look fantastic.

Before we go bonkers, this bears repeating:

"There's no indication in the US Patent and Trademark Office files that the Nets are associated with the lawyers," the site's report reads. "A spokesman for the Nets declined comment Monday when asked about the trademark applications by NetsDaily. A spokesperson for Mikhail Prohorov's Onexim Group told NetsDaily recently that the applications are 'not ours.' The attorney of record on three of the five applications has not responded to a request for information."

For all we know, the Big Ten orchestrated this whole thing to take the heat off of them for "Legends" and "Leaders".
