The Guelph Storm has announced that they will be revealing the team?s third jersey on Tuesday, November 9^th at 11am at the Biltmore Hats Factory. Fans and media are invited to attend. The Storm will wear their third jerseys for the first time on Friday, November 12th against the Owen Sound Attack.

The Rangers always have nice Remembrance Day jerseys. It's a little too bad about the placement of the OHL and RBK logos, though. I really like the Montreal jerseys, too.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are getting ready to unveil a third jersey. That will happen Monday afternoon at the Vimy Ridge Armoury and will involve members of the 18th Air Defence Regiment. According to a Hurricanes? news release: ?The ?Canes new third jersey is a complete redesign that sees a return to one of the club?s original colors ? Cardinal Red.?

The rangers' unis are usually good but damn those are nice.

Like I posted earlier, I believe this to be the Hurricanes' third-- mostly because it's still on the hangers at Pro Hockey Life and do see anything anywhere about what it actually is.

If it's possible, could you get a nice shot of the front crest flattened out? Then I can mock these up for the webpage.

Edited to add: In Scotty's picture, they have the 25th anniversary patch on the shoulders. The ones the Hurricanes just unveiled do not. They have their secondary logo on the shoulders.

I totally dig. Great way to keep traditions alive.

When you are talking non-pro hockey, I think it is okay for teams to identify with former clubs of the city rather than following the lineage of the franchise. I love that Seattle has worn Totems jerseys and I think it would look completely out of place for them to wear Kamloops Chiefs sweaters.

I agree 110%. I love the design, appreciate that the original Storm logo is pretty minimal on the shoulders -- wish it wasn't there in the first place, but I'll let it pass.

Furthermore, I agree with you, OMMF, about honoring the history of hockey in the region rather than the franchise history. Seeing the Hawks and Birds wearing Buckaroos and Totems jerseys absolutely means more than Edmonton Oil Kings and Kamloops Chiefs jerseys.

Edit to add: Chilliwack will also be wearing a Remembrance Day jersey tomorrow but, if the picture is any indication of what the jersey is, it's generic at best. I'm hoping the picture is just a placeholder.

Just noticed on the Guelph Storm third jersey on the site, the sleeves are the wrong colour pattern. It should be a black trimmed by white with a single white stripe below, not white trimmed with black and a single black stripe below.
