dfwabel
Better to look at airliners.net for all of the threads which they have there on such aircrafts. Turkish Airlines made livery for the FIBA 2010 World Championships.http://www.galatasaray.org/images/galeri/4/1322/B_0042127864539fe5ebd37375ac2d6e74.jpg
Punch
That's got to be against the law, or something. I would think that would be a distraction to other pilots.
scottysprings
I could've sworn when I was taxiing at MCO a number of years ago our plane passed an older Magic-liveried commercial plane. I can't seem to find any pictures of it on airliners.net so I'm thinking maybe it was just a tug that had the livery.

Hawaiian Air is the official charter plane for the Raiders during the season again.

I would think that would be a distraction to other pilots.Interesting that the registration country code (9M) is Malaysia, and in the shot of the whole plane it looks like the Malaysian flag is on the nose. Turns out Air Asia sponsors the Raiders. And that's not the only distraction that's flown around...The industry term for these is 'logojets' and the no-longer-with-us Western Pacific had a whole stable of them (though not sports-related). Like this one:My personal fave was the Simpsons plane. It's hilarious how they put Marge's beehive going up the tail:There are also 'retrojets' with commemorative old-school paint, like this beauty:Have no idea why the registration is so jumbo.
