On a bit of a side note, if its Predators-Coyotes in the first round, it might break records for being the lowest attended playoff series. The Yotes couldn't sell out when there was a boat load of Wings fans last year.

Personally, I'd take that.

Cheaper/more available playoff tickets for me.

Really, as long as the Yotes don't drop to 6th and the Wings don't stay in 3rd, I'll take any match-up to go to. I went to Opening Night here in Glendale against the Wings, and besides the Yotes tying it to go to OT, it was almost unbearable in the stands.

I want to go to some playoff games and send the Coyotes off to Winnipeg, and it won't be hard if it's the Kings/Preds or if some crazy swings happen the Ducks/Sharks (and I'd like a crazy Ducks rise to 5th for personal reasons :P ). But if it's going to be some more Wings home games, I'll stay home.

Buffalo defeats Tampa, sealing the Southeast Division for the Caps and officially eliminating the false hope for Leafs Nation.

I just don't understand how Philly can dominate Pittsburgh 5-2 and then proceed to lose to Atlanta,

Jersey (though they have been hot), New York, and now nOttawa.

They don't deserve to be in the playoffs with the way they have been playing the last month.

Price stops an insane 20 shots in the 3rd period and the brainless hawks piss the game away in OT. A much needed point, but the blackhawks absolutely cannot score right now. Making the playoffs would be nice but a formality, as they'll be swept by whoever they'd end up playing.

Is your name Willmorris?

I think they've been coasting as of late. They'll be fine in the big dance.

This is what happens when Patrick Sharp is out of the lineup. The team had its worst stretch of the '08-'09 season when he got hurt in February of that year, and here we see it happening again. The first time I saw the post-Dollar-Bill Hawks play live, I felt like he was the glue that held the offensive unit together. If he's healthy for the playoffs, they're a competitive team again. If he's not, then even Roberto Luongo could dispatch them with relative ease.

Bruce has done a pretty good job trying to change the mentality of this team over the course of the year. Thats really been the difference, theyre tougher mentally and can win close games. Theyre not just out-scoring other teams now, theyre trying to lock it down and its refreshing. Hope they can sustain it in the playoffs.

Yeah, an on-ice Ovechkin Stanley Cup ceremony would be a sight to see.

Yes, yes it would. I've been waiting a majority of my life to see that sight.

I stand by my original post. I assume that Ovechkin with the Cup would be more entertaining than any other player.

Hell, after this years playoff I'll have been waiting 24 years for a Leafs celebration. Hopefully, it won't reach 30 years.
