BaltimoreFan
I'm watching the Rays-Orioles game and the Rays are wearing hats with a plaid bill. It looks interesting, not sure if I like it or not. I'll try to see if I can post pictures.
raysox
It's basically a normal cap with a plaid brim. They've been wearing them in BP, and have had plaid became popular with the braysers(plaid blazers in rays colours.), and even on the playoffs gear. @MichaelDanger19 | Dribbble

knnhrvy16
That's allowed!?Took the words right out of my mouth, my exact reaction. If the Giants can't wear orange cleats, then how the heck can the Rays wear a PLAID brim?? The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.
Lights Out
Perhaps unsurprisingly to some, I love them! Excellent creativity and even better execution. This could be a mainstay of their visual identity for years to come if they stick with it. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
BaltimoreFan
I actually like it too. At the very least its unique. When have you ever seen a sports team wear plaid? It's not like its too much either, just restricted to the hat brims. Of course, I'm probably a little biased too, blue is my favorite color and I like the way light blue plaid looks. I'd actually probably buy one of those blazers if I ever came across one.

TBGKon
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-rays-plaidhatsFrom the story linked above:Rays manager Joe Maddon said Saturday the caps have also been approved for use in a game and the team might consider doing that. They've been used in BP since the weekend, but are now being seen in game action, at least for tonight. oldschoolvikings
Why not. If pinstripes are OK, plaid should be fine. I say make a plaid uniform. I believe the Giants wore plaid back in the 19-teens. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
TFoA
As long as it's an alt & they'll only have it until plaid falls out of style, this is pretty cool.

TheOldRoman
That's allowed!?Took the words right out of my mouth, my exact reaction. If the Giants can't wear orange cleats, then how the heck can the Rays wear a PLAID brim?? The Giants could wear orange cleats if they wanted, but they ALL would have to wear them. That is why Wilson had to change/color them black. All the Rays are wearing these, not one player.
