Brave-Bird 08
way too much black for Tennessee. Too bad they didn't show off the side panels...but nothing can be worse than the side panels they have had the past few years. It's a shame, but Georgia's 2005-2009 uniforms likely won't be back. I'm expecting Georgia to get white and red uniforms that follow this original template, which they wore in black and silver uniforms starting at the middle of last year. north dakota
I think Tennessee's mens teams should use some light blue in their jerseys too. Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.
ONUV
I think Tennessee's mens teams should use some light blue in their jerseys too.that wouldn't get much support. it's too synonymous with women's sports now. there's separate athletic depts for men's and women's sports. ONUV
turtle shell pattern? interesting .http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=28663&id=141877065852648&ref=mf
CJworks
Awesome update for Tennessee, but the number font is really bugging me. The middle strokes in the numbers, specifically the 2 and 5's, are considerably smaller than the top and bottom strokes. Either it was done sloppily, or just a poor choice. From what I can tell, the Terps look great too. Love the turle shell and Maryland-flag-style piping. Clever. HarperK
looks like UT is using the same mesh tech that the NBA unveiled for the upcoming season... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ
RamblinGamblinTiger
I thought there was a rule that didn't allow uniform sponsors' logos to appear on the jersey tops? Am I mis-remembering a non-existent rule? Or did it get changed?

McCall
i know the missouri tigers mens basketball team is getting new uniforms this season, but i could not remember where i saw the photo, or i would have posted it.I started a topic on here with a pic taken by Kim English (I think) and was posted on stories from a Columbia news site and KY3's site. It was only the jersey, though. Appeared similar to OU's, but not sure how close it will actually resemble it. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
BaltimoreFan
Apparently these are Maryland's new uniforms. They should have never ditched the national championship design. Those were really modern classics IMO. This is just another crappy set, just like most of the new college basketball sets.
LEWJ
So the new Adidas template/design will be used in college as well. Kind of expected.Originally I couldn't stand the black in Tennessee's uniforms, but since they're so intent on using it, I'd have to say I like these. It's nice to see a more modern side panel design as well.As for Maryland's unis. I like em. But I loved their last set. The panel designs were unique, and very attractive.I don't think College teams will ever stick with the same identity longer than say, 5 seasons. bri1275
Kansas is getting the new adidas jerseys too. No pics yet, media day is in a couple of weeks so should see them then.Didn't know they were allowing manufacturers logo on the jerseys now. What is that NCAA logo? Adding both of those is going to make jerseys look cluttered if they aren't careful.

crashcarson15
I can't decide which Maryland set I like better. Their last one was awesome, but I love the terrapin shell on the new ones. Will be interesting to see the red (and hopefully yellow) ones!

(Except for maybe North Carolina...)You're right, and that's a shame if you ask me. Especially considering how long some college football teams keep their looks. UCLA is the only school I can think of that's had the same basic look for a long time (even UNC is wearing dramatically different unis than what they had in the Jordan era). At most, basketball teams MIGHT stay consistent with their wordmark and number fonts, as Maryland does here.

But yeah, college basketball uniforms generally don't seem quite as sacred as football uniforms at most schools.
