The picture here doesn't do it the same justice.Also, first peek of the Mariners' teal threads.. At first I wasn't a fan of the new Indians roads, but seeing them in action I love them! Especially using the C logo on the batting helmet. I think they need to use the cream jerseys as the primary home, instead of the script white ones. Even the change to the red hat is cool, and it's a good change for the Tribe and red seemed to be really underused in their identity. I know most people don't like the C hats around the country, but in Ohio they have really become iconic, and nowadays I see them more than the wahoo caps.I think this could be an easy way to fix the inconsistency of the Indians set, but still keeping a mixture of eras...not much of a change, just reduced the number of outlines on the alternates, got rid of piping and red brim on wahoo hat. Love it as much as I love Minnesota's road uniform (love the look of navy outlined in red on a gray jersey like that).Also, the Giants' gold uniform, and especially the gold cap, is just awesome. Saturday and Sunday will prove whether or not they took it the whole way and got the entire home set in CB (all White on Saturday night, Brick on Sunday). The PC "debate" (or rather "it doesn't bother me so you're a pvssy if it bothers you!") can go on somewhere else, but IMO we're seeing the phasing out of the logo, which I predict won't be seen on field in 5 years. Makes it look too small, and it almost disappears next to the wordmark. Softball leagues think it looks cheap. Also, I became instantly annoyed the second I saw highlights this morning and saw the road batting helmet with the block C. So it exists, you have it, but you won't wear the blue hat with the red c with your cream uniforms, you're going to insist on wearing that horrible red hat, and when you do wear the creams then you wear your chief wahoo batting helmet? The solution is simple. Drop the ugly red hat that sticks out like sore thumb, wear what is now the road hat with the cream unis, and when you're at the plate, wear your new road batting helmets. I don't know what I find more irritating, that the Indians think that red hat is a good idea, or that I have to see douchebags around here wearing it. I would've thought most anyone would of caught that by my use of the emoticon. I've always found that version of the Tribe logo quite humorous.
