McCall
Not only that, but the Tigers are really only blue and orange on the road. I think that when the average person thinks of the Tigers, they're thinking navy and white. And the orange is limited to accent/trim on the road really. The road BP is where it's really most prominent. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
tajmccall
It was announced before the Twins game today, that they will wear the 1963 throwbacks for ALL home games for the remainder of the year in tribute to Harmon. Seems pretty unprecedented. Also, probably somewhat unnecessary, but hey. Harmon was a heck of a dude. Store 1 Store
loogodude90
I'm really digging the Nats' alternates. I think it's cool they are wearing them on the road. They are very sharp.BTW, what is the policy on the Giants orange unis this season? I thought they wore them on Sunday home games last year (correct me if I'm wrong), but they weren't wearing them yesterday. Do they wear them on any kind of schedule? xTr1pleXx
It seemed everyone, outside of me, was happy the Mariners were bringing back a teal alternate. Watching the M's wear it against the Yanks right now - this jersey is nothing short of hideous. And just about every single Yankee fan on Twitter seeing these for a full game for the first time agrees with me, for what it's worth. This jersey typifies why I hate teal. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
tvko
Beautiful matchup in Oakland with the A's rocking the gold alts, and the Orioles wearing black. The gold looks great in the afternoon sun.Watching the M's wear [teal] against the Yanks right now - this jersey is nothing short of hideous.Oh man, I was just going to comment on how good they look. I'm glad it's part of their aesthetic again, and I hope it stays. You know what they say, "Traditionalist's can go die in a hole if they don't like it." They did a nice job with those. It's amazing how a cool jersey matchup can make a baseball game that tiny bit interesting enough to make it watchable. I can say, unequivocally, we all hated it.Don't see what it being a group of Yankees fans has to do with it. That's just the team who happened to be facing the M's last night, thus letting that group of fans see that jersey for the first time. I'm sure plenty of fanbases across the AL gave a collective "what the hell are they wearing?" when they saw that teal jersey for the first time. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
Lights Out
If most AL fans hate the Mariners' teal stuff, then they have a funny way of showing it. Seattle's teal-brimmed cap is the third-top selling Mariners hat on Lids.com. The teal-crowned cap is the ninth-top selling one. Obviously, teal sells. scottysprings
I've always liked the teal-brimmed caps, but for some reason the jerseys didn't really do anything for me last night. Maybe if they brightened up the teal a bit or if the fabric had a bit of sheen to it it would look better to me.

But this is still a pretty nice jersey, with or without the teal brimmed caps. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

A few weeks ago the Sox played a Friday game in Seattle while the Mariners wore the teal. It was one of the best looking games I have ever seen (part of that was the Sox wearing their gray jersey instead of the black softball jerseys). I was happy I got to see a game with the teal jerseys.
BBTV
I think that the teal Northwest Green should be a little more green, but I agree that it's a fine look for an alt (teal home alt, navy road alt?) The only thing (and it's a pretty big thing IMO) is the cap doesn't have enough NWG in it, so the jersey has kind of a BP look to it. The NWG brim is mandatory with this jersey. TruColor
The Mariners' Northwest Green is supposed to look like this (print vs. fabrics): <---> ...but what is worn on the field looks much more Teal-ish.
BBTV
That's basically what I was saying. If they could make the fabric color closer to the print color (and actually produce the jerseys in said fabric color) it'd be fine. McCall
The Marlins should be wearing this teal and the Mariners should be wearing the actual Northwest green. It's a little more fitting if a team in the pacific northwest.Still a great jersey. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
xTr1pleXx
I'll never understand why the Braves wear those blue alternates with the idiotic blue lettering when they have a far superior alternate already. This red jersey they're wearing tonight against the Reds looks great. The blue one? Not so much. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
