You want a scientific survey or something? I'm talking word on the street. We're having a typical Laker crisis because they're on a little losing streak, except now with Griffin putting on a show the way he has Laker fans are starting to cross over. That's what I've noticed here in LA.

I think you're confusing appreciating the beast that Blake Griffin is and switching from Lakers fans to Clippers fans.

But whatever.

Blake Griffin IS a beast. And it helps that his whole team is playing well too. Baron Davis is off my :censored:list for the time being.

Have you seen him play in person yet? I'm trying to get tickets when they play the Knicks at the Garden in February.. that won't be too hard.

Not yet, sadly. I don't live in LA, so I can't go see them at Staples any time I want. Next time I'm in LA, I'll definitely try to get to a Clipper game. His dunks must be ten times better in person.

Thanks to KG's right leg injury, i think Miami has an open path to the Eastern Conference title now. And guess whos laughing now...Charlie Villanueva.

So you're saying an injury to KG's leg that had a negative xray and will undergo an MRI today not even half way through the season somehow solidifies the playoffs next June? Please....

Every time I see Blake Griffin go up for a dunk, I think its the last time he will ever throw one down. He goes up with such strength and comes down with such force that I am just waiting to his knee just crumble. I hope it never happens, he is really entertaining.

I'm noticing the same thing with John Wall (except for the dunk part). He crashes on almost every drive to the hoop. That can't be good for his body and longterm conditioning. It's no wonder he's missed so many games this season.

And your 2010 Slam Dunk Contest Participants:

Blake Griffin: Sweet! Can't wait to see him put on a show!

Javale McGee: Cool, I've seen him throw down a few times

Serge Ibaka: Interesting, I thought he was known for his defense

Brandon Jennings:.........? Cool haircut?

Where's LeBron? I thought he was going to be in the Dunk Contest this year.

Griffin and LeBron going toe-to-toe would have been the best Dunk Contest ever.

He's not known for his commitment...

So Larry Ellison wants to buy the New Orleans Hornets and move them to San Jose.

Wow, that would probably mean an all-California division. I wonder how likely this is to happen.

Not very since I could see Golden State throwing a huge bitch-fit over this.
