NYYNYR
This is apparently the "new" Road uniformonly difference is the arm piping moved all the way to the end of the sleeveAnd the H in Washington is now centered on the placket, so no more ridiculous split letter. 2010 model below. They kept the beveled numbers? No, no. If i'm reading correclty, the bottom picture is the old jersey (look at the location of the sleeve stripes). The new jersey is above. The stripes are right on the end, and as the poster noted, the "h" is now centered on the middle column (whatever you call it ) and not split. SteveR
Following tweets from Nats' fashion show. Will update as I see them (and pics - or links to pics - ASAP):* New road cap = blue crown, red bill, Curly W (it IS the road, not an alt -- only two caps now in the set)* Interlocking DC removed from sleeves. Now the circle patch logo that we saw on new altRed alts from fashion show: http://plixi.com/p/56165274* New home jerseys are a white version of the red alt -- Curly W on left breast with red/blue pipinghttp://plixi.com/p/56165601Here's a pic of all the looks:http://plixi.com/p/56165809I can't tell what's on the left breast of the blue jersey, though
ESTONES6
Washington Nationals website says they will officially release the uniforms at 7:15 tonight: SAINT IGNATIUS WILDCATS | CLEVELAND BROWNS | CLEVELAND CAVALIERS | CLEVELAND INDIANS | THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES
mightynine
Preferred the full name script mark.I can't tell what's on the left breast of the blue jersey, though Looks like they swapped out the stars'n'stripes DC with a W.

The uniform set is now CONSISTENT. Great improvement.EDIT - Blue alternate.EDIT #2:NatsUniBreakdown:Red Caps-Home Uniform-Red Alternate UniformBlue Caps w/ Red Brim-Road Uniform-Blue Alternate UniformOverall, major upgrade. The Nats were successful this go-round, in my opinion.EDIT #3:Boy, I keep discovering new things. If you look closely at the pic with all the unis, their new primary logo is in the background. mightynine
A little underwhelming. Consistent, yes. Exciting, no.

OnWis97
I'd much rather see "Nationals" across the chest at home. I also think the number font should be different.Still an improvement, but could be better. SteveR
Thanks for that last one. Still trying to nail down how many hats are in the set -- whether the patriotic blue jersey has its own matching patriotic blue cap.All interlocking DC is gone. A red cap for the home/red alt. and a blue/red hat for the road/blue alt.
Billy B
At least they don't have a mix and match of styles across all their uniforms. The home jerseys look to plain with just the curly W. Going with a cursive Nationals script would have looked a lot better. I like how just the curly W looks on the red alt though. That's a good looking jersey, it would be better with a different sleeve patch. I like how the road cap looks on its own, but it doesn't go with the rest of the set. They're making the transition to a primarily red team on the home and road, yet the road cap has a navy crown. Red hats across the board would be great. And they removed the beveling from the numbers, but now they don't match at all with the scripts on any of the jerseys. A normal block number font would fit in better. Pharos04
Kinda hoping they would have put the script "Nationals" across the front instead of the "W" but 3/4 isn't bad I suppose.so here's a question: now that the original "Nationals" beveled script is gone, does anyone think that they primary logo will undergo some changes now to reflect the emphasis on the Curly-W? mightynine
According to this NatsTown post, there is no stars and stripes hat that will go with the jersey (probably because there will be a MLB one). Also, this is the new primary mark:
Ben Schwartz
The homes are so weird, I wonder what our fan player shirts will look like, probably pretty lame with no script.

Don
I'm "meh" on the new home. The red alt is nice, the patriotic blue is nice, cleaning up the road which is my favorite was needed. Not a fan of the new road hat. B+ upgrade on a D+ set. SteveR
I'd rather see at least one of the alts be significantly different than the primary home design rather than same design in different colors. But how many baseball teams do something other than re-colors? Phillies cream, Rays light and dark blue, Red Sox's red and blue, Royals light blue, A's kelly green and black, Giants orange.I guess Colorado and Arizona are some of the few that have different designs in their unis. CJworks
Something about that red alternate screams Braves to me. That said, I'm pretty disappointed with all of this. They just blended in with all of the other Red/Blue teams, way to go Nats!Ahhhh.....downgrade. Dribbble | Twitter | Facebook | Portfolio
