eRay
Awesome. Love the uniqueness. It works. Makes me think, as others have pointed out, that other teams may latch onto this idea. Copycat courts could kill this idea. Imagine IUPUI balling on a Jaguar-print hardwood. Picture Murray State having an oval of horse tracks covering their court. raz
At first glance it looks like a worn out gymnasium floor, but now that I see the tree pattern ... it looks like a worn out gymnasium floor.

Hooky586
I Love it! I would like to see Kentucky make a special floor depicting the Kentucky Derby and Bourbon.I am new on here and this probably is out of place, but are you kidding me? The floor at Rupp Arena is fine the way it is.

Such as Maryland's Turtle shell, Alabama's hounds-tooth (not that it would work for the basketball program), a pirateship silouette for East Carolina, Gator skin for Florida, tiger stripes for Missouri, etc. Most, if not, the majority of teams, would be better off going the traditional route... truepg
The only thing is that there's no connection between ducks and forest. If they were called the Wolves or the Timbers, it would make sense.

FiddySicks
I actually really like the idea and think that it looks great. But the thing is, I can't see this being an easy court to play on. All the actual basketball markings seem to get kinda lost amongst the other elements and the trees seem like they'd be extremely distracting. In times where play is really quick I could see players making some really bad fundamental mistakes due to confusion on where the lines are on the court. But I don't play a ton of basketball, so maybe it's not going to be as big of a deal as I think. Jaybird
Not really a fan of the court at Matt Knight Arena, but it will be as distinctive as the parquet floor in Boston, the old floor at the Mecca in Milwaukee (I wish both the Bucks and Marquette could go back to the "M" design on the court, or have an updated version with the "M" done in a wood stain and the team logos in the middle of the respective courts). I know Colorado State has ram horns in the three point area and Rhode Island has a wood stained Ram head. Also, the "Matt" logo under the O looks like a basket. Finally, there should be some type of center court line. The way Oregon has it, it will cause headaches and controversy.Other than that, congrats to the U. of Oregon for their new arena and a floor that will defintely say "Oregon" just like the Razorback says "Arkansas". Atlanta Braves, please bring back the Indian Head logo.

TxRangersFan
How about an over/under on how long it takes for Oregon to get rid of this design and replace it with something less distracting. 2.5 years? I'll bet the under. May God bless you all and fill your hearts with faith, hope, and love!
