Sportslogos.net NFL uniforms updates

The white armpit doesn't look quite right, another reason not to like these new silly overly-complicated designs.

Remarkably, the Cards' called those White areas "wing detail" in the official uniform unveiling party back in '05.

On the Rams uniform section, the home uniform with the gold pants is listed 2002-2007, we still wear those. The all white uniform is also listed as just 2006. I'm not sure what the actual home and away primary uniforms anymore because we still wear all of those pant combinations.

ColorWerx, could you shed some light on that; what are the Rams actual home and away uniforms, an which ones are considered the "alternates"? Because it seems to me that they just wear all of the pants at random times throughout the year, there is no consistant uniform combination.

In regards to the throwbacks teams wear, unless it is different from the actual historical uniform, there really isn't a purpose to posting them on the site multiple times.

The only option is to leave it be or to create a specific "throwback" section of each teams page

Technically the Steelers current alt is different from the throwback it's based on as seen in these helmets:

Mhmm, those are the types of differences I was referring to. If it's different--a "faux-back" if you will--it should be on there twice, I say.

Throwbacks like Minnesota and Atlanta I technically already have on there. I probably am looking to update them all, though, like I am doing with Arizona.

I just finished the Cardinals' current unis, including editing the dates on the alternate red-pants.

Gonna try to finish re-doing the Cards' history today. Anything up there currently (dates, etc) that is wrong?

On the Eagles page:

-- The script they used from 1996 through 2002 (the one that narrows as it approaches the "S") is missing.

-- The logo of the 50th anniversary of the last championship ( <_< ) is missing.

-- The white/white uniform combination is still in use. They use it during the preseason, and they used it earlier this year in Jacksonville.

-- The 1960 throwbacks they wore in week 1 are missing.

The sleeves on the Cardinals graphic really don't look right. Not sure if it's just the template, or if the drawing is off.

Also, does the NFL now have a new official template? I'm used to them using the (woefully outdated) "cowboy kevin" version (not sure what else to call it, just used to him posting it.)

This is extremely picky (and probably not worth addressing), but the Cardinals had a single-color nameplate on the home and road unis for 2005, and then added the Black trim in 2006.

And I know that you're only modifying uniform graphics, but I would love it if the graphics on the Cardinals page could be corrected...currently, they're a mess.

I provided an RGB-optimized post for the Cards on my blog a while back...here it is (with all of the official designations for the marks):

Arizona Cardinals RGB-Optimized Graphics

(I'm actually in the middle of re-generating the graphics to reflect the new PANTONE PLUS color library. So there will be some broken images in the meantime.)

I'm not sure of my responsibilities on actual logos for the site, honestly.

However, on the uniforms, I want as accurate as possible. I will add the one-color nameplates.

EDIT: Here are the home uniforms for comparison:

It's about as close as I could get on that template. Would a different template work better

To piggy-back from this...

Which also reminds me, the 1996-2002 uniforms are also missing, along with all others prior to 2003. I'll never understand why the Eagles altered their uniforms, the '96-'02 was better than what they currently have.

Here's the Arizona Cardinals historical home uniforms (1994-2004):

Main changes to the previous graphics are the back of the helmets (thanks to Getty Images). Now I can do accurate representations of the back of historical helmets.
