The worst playoff team of all time is up 11 on the defending champs.

Any given Sunday, indeed.

Or Saturday.

It seems the Seahawks have a chip on their shoulder from all that "they don't belong here" talk

If you were to tell me a team's lead would be 31-20 in the 3rd quarter, and that team's QB would have 4 touchdown passes up to that point, I'd have bet $100 that it'd be the Saints.

Boy, am I glad I never did do anything like that.

Maybe that's what it is. Either way, one team looks great and the other looks awful.

Sorry BlueSky.

For anyone out there who may be "shocked" at the Seahawks' current success in this game, they/you shouldn't be. The Saints have been vulnerable all season long, on both sides of the ball. And lest we forget, Hasselbeck isn't exactly a bum at QB, either. That said, their defense has stepped up today. And oh by the way...this game IS at Qwest.

We'll see if they can keep this up. (And if the 'Hawks do win, no this will NOT be the most monumental upset in the history of monumental upsets...though I'm sure the Worldwide Hype Machine will sure make it seem that way...if not several posters up in here.)

It's official. Go Seahawks. Win the whole damn thing and throw the NFL into a BCS style frenzy just before you take a year off. That'll keep the interest high during the strike :P

BTW, if the Seahawks make any type of a signifigant run, how will this make Pete Carroll look?

BTW.2, I still fully expect the Saints to win this game....

The fact that the Saints have so many starters and contributors out is also showing. On offense, no Chris Ivory (leading rusher), no Pierre Thomas, no Jimmy Graham (new go-to tight end. Washed-up back-up Julius Jones fumbled the ball to his former team once already. But what's most disheartening is the play of the defense. They haven't been able to pressure Hasselbeck at all; Saints are missing Malcolm Jenkins at safety, and his replacement-- Roman Harper-- looked stupid on allowing the first THREE touchdown passes.

....and washed-up Julius Jones can't make a 4th and 1. This game's over.

It is what it is.
