My brain is about to explode after reading this thread. No way this thing stays under wraps till November.

Add a spear on the front and maybe some abstract eyes, invert the purple one to make it more like a fin, and make a rear fin somehow out of the red one. Make the bottom shape light blue (or teal-ish), and make the purple one orange, and the green one yellow.

Whoever Brian is, you'd better warn him.

"Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | 🌐 Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports 🔗

That's exactly what I'm expecting.

lol, not exactly. I'm liking the cynicism, though.

Found a ton of Miami Marlins marks (most abandoned) but this one is owned by the Florida Marlins and is for the purpose of "...conducting an array of athletic events..."

It's from April 2010, so I doubt this is the new mark, but probably someone more familiar with TESS and how to search can get to hunting for something.

The main color doesn't help either in my opinion.

Is it too bright or just an ugly color?

That's up for interpretation I guess. At this point I don't even know if you can call it the "main" color.

So confusing.

Pardon me for asking, but have you REALLY seen the actual identity or are you just speculating? Maybe you explained in some of your previous post. I apologize if you did. I'm just curious where you are getting your information.

It's saying not available. Did you save the pic?

No, but it was just a very basic serifed MIAMI MARLINS wordmark. Really nothing exciting.

Did it show any colors?

No, I think everything on that site is black and white.

The MLB Style Guide website has finally begun use of its 2012 uniform/logo URL, but it just sends me back to the login screen for now.

My question for Showtime029, meetthemets, Unwind, et al. -- how are you able to see the new Marlins look if it's not on the site yet? Insider info? Other?
