Bmac
The phrase "starting to look dated" was dated long ago.The double-blue scheme is fine. Would you like the Blues to wear something other than... blue? It's been blue and yellow since day one.I submit for your (well, mostly my) viewing pleasure:Beauties. That's their best look ever.Agreed. That white jersey is one of the greatest hockey jerseys ever IMO. Just perfect.I HATE the shades of blue, yellow, and red they used together. I have no idea why but that combo is just so ugly to me. https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
Sodboy13
Something about the yellow with the thin red strips on either side of it really put me off. It's like they muddle together to make a particularly unpleasant shade of orange. Plus, the iron-on numbers they used for most of that design's life looked horrid. The pre-Edge design for the Blues should be regarded as a modern classic. Much like the Red Wings' whites, it's a uniform that I love, no matter how much I may despise the team wearing it. Sport
Awful. Ignoring everything else terrible about these, how giant was that collar? Why was it so big?Not bad, but there was nothing spectacular about them either. They were just kinda there.
Ryoma
Speaking of the Blues, they're wearing white tonight against the Hawks in red. Don't know why, but I don't particularly care as I'm a strong advocate of white at home. More of this please.
Sodboy13
Oh yeah, the rounded edges on that era's Bluenote also bring down the design. It's been blue and yellow since day one.I submit for your (well, mostly my) viewing pleasure:Beauties.I don't see why the two shades of blue are necessary, especially considering the values are so close, Major colour bleeding is happening on the blue one. Why not just go with Royal Blue, Yellow and White?

Change the collar, keep their current logo only with modified colours, have a solid pant and I think it would be amazing. Love the socks/jersey pattern. Ramrod
Do the Rangers wear different pants with thier third uniforms? On the surface they look the same as the regular home/away pants, but for some reason upon closer inspection, they look darker to me.Last year I read that the pants worn with the alternates were indeed pants shells with a darker red hue to match the rest of the look. I don't recall which site I read this on, however, so it's always possible it was just the Icethetics dude once again sharing his opinions as fact, or someone else doing so. The whole thing looks a little darker, too. I assume they're shells that are color-matched to the jerseys. I'll respect any opinion that you can defend. rmackman
If anyone cares, the Blues wore white at home vs. the Blackhawks last night. The Blues honored those killed in the Russian plane crash with a special patch as well. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports

Makes it seem like everyone's jersey was poorly customized.

Morgan33
The NHL should just get rid of front numbers all together, they never end up looking good and are completely unnecessary now we have helmet numbers. The trend is on the downswing though. With the introduction of the Edge Uniform System, 5 teams used them (Buffalo, Dallas, New York Islanders, San Jose. Tampa). Now only 3 do (Buffalo, Dallas, San Jose).
