HawkeyHouse
Great logo right here. As well as great jerseys here. I don't like the victory pit stains.

Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. andrewharrington
How's this??I tried to bring the logo to life and to make it look more like the Lightning everybody once loved. It's still in a circle. Common now. Shoulder patches get a pass. Plus all past Lightning logos were in circles anyway. It's not the white circle that I have a problem with. It's the fauxback black one. Seriously, Tampa Bay is the same age I am. It has no history. So what. Just because I was born in 1985 doesn't mean I should dress like I was born in 1985 my entire life. At some point I have to grow up.Yes, but you're not going to dress like you were born in 1920, are you? Dress for your age.You dress appropriate for the time period, and right now, retro is the thing, so really, this is modern, because this type of look is taking over the landscape right now. charger77
I like it on its own, but in the NHL this jersey (considering who the GM is) just screams Detroit to me. Even with the silver accents. Bayne
Here my contribution to the collection.Really nice, but they look a bit too 'simple' if you know what I mean. Maybe that's not the right word, but I wouldn't want to see it as a primary logo....as a shoulder patch it would be perfect. I am really drawn to this concept though. Not a huge fan of the blue bolt, but the white bolt is great. You could probably used the white bolt logo for the white jersey anyway..? I'm Danny fkn Heatley, I play for myself. That's what fkn all stars do.

bohob
Here's mine. I liked the idea of a two-color home jersey, but blue and white really screamed Toronto. (a common complaint about the new set) I decided blue and silver could look very sharp. I used the circular logo from the current shoulder logo as the crest. The typography is pretty modern, but its lack of outlines accents the simple logo. Two more things for the uniforms: I kept the bolt on the pants and I modified the victory stripes. To me, if you are trying to build a traditional brand, you don't get rid of the only tamgible uniform history you do have. On the third, I incorporated some black. I figure, in hockey, the third can take some liberties color palette-wise. C&C please. lancebridwell
@bohobNot really feeling the grey...it needs some white...just a little too bland. Also, 90% of these designs I would buy over the Maple Leafs jerseys they've produced I don't think, because thinking implies uncertainty. Therefore, I KNOW.
DustDevil61
Well, here's my take on it, and it's not quite complete (mainly, no alternate):Kept the black, dropped the silver, and tweaked the main logo already on here while using an altered version of the alternate logo (IMO I like the alt when black is used). Tried to keep it more traditional as well, victory stripes are found in there (as best as this template will allow me). Thoughts? CrookedThumb
This is what the Lightning are going to look like next year...I sincerely hope you're right. Why their revisions didn't look like this is beyond me.Edit - Well, unless they had already printed a bunch of blank jerseys. But still, this needs to be the ultimate product. -kj
This is what the Lightning are going to look like next year...I like this, but I think I'd like it more if the sleeve stripe pattern matched the way the numbers are done. That and lose the "Tampa Bay".
