DCDuck
Re: TorontoThe Jays have the foundation: good young pitchers like Brett Cecil and Ricky Romero, and a big bat in Jose Bautista. With a couple more cogs, they could be where the Rays were a couple of years ago.But yeah, that division is brutal.
IceCap
Chris Bosh thought it was like playing in a foreign city, how's being a third wheel in Miami Bosh Spice.Great, considering he got to go to the Finals in his first year and take very little blame for losing.Yeah he wasn't going to win anything in Canada and neither would Prince. For the record I never said Cleveland was better than Toronto, all I was saying was an an Indians fan I would love to say he'd play for us but that is impossible. Same goes for Toronto. Of course Toronto is a nicer city, but Cleveland is in America and I'll take that anyday if I'm looking for a team to play for. There's a reason why guys like Bosh and Carter didn't like playing there, and reasons why guys like Darlington Nagbe didn't want to be drafted by the Whitecaps. You got hockey, but when it comes to other sports you are a far second...Your entire schtick is tired. Go away. Sport
This thread just got Clevejacked again.I'd rather live in Toronto for free than get paid to live in Cleveland. Oh and remember how the Blue Jays won back to back world series in the early 90's? A lot of that had to do with free agent players choosing to live and work in Canada. NJTank
Cubs don't have the money to sign Fielder, or anyone. Probably going to Boston. There is no way he goes to Boston, Adrian Gonzalez plays 1B, David Ortiz is the DH there is no place for him to play. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

The_Admiral
Fielder becomes the DH and Ortiz is banished to the land of wind and ghosts (failing that, Baltimore). You wouldn't think a Giants player would wear white shoes. Brian Wilson antics only elicit exasperated sighs from me. McCall
I'd probably say if he's gonna DH, it'll be the Yankees. Posada's pretty much at the end. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

Oh and remember how the Blue Jays won back to back world series in the early 90's? A lot of that had to do with free agent players choosing to live and work in Canada. Just be glad you don't have to listen to Cleveland sports talk shows. They're nothing but calls like "We have the best park and the best fans. All we need is for the people who run our teams to get their heads out of their asses." They believe that all the Indians need to do is spend the money on a free agent like Fielder and then trade some prospects to get a top tier corner outfielder and a top tier corner infielder. They believe the front office and ownership won't make such simple moves because ownership is too cheap and the front office is too stupid. As if all it would take to get Fielder or a top tier FA would be for Larry Dolan to OK spending the money.I'd really like to say that I'm exaggerating, but if anything, I'm underselling it. And now we've taken to bashing Canada? Just when I think it can't get any worse. Oh well, Go Browns...for now.
