Webhamster Posted March 22, 2011 Share Posted March 22, 2011 Yeah, I'm not sure red on black really counts as dark on dark. Its all about contrast. Another thing to consider in creating color contrast is warm / cool relationships. Green on navy is tougher than red on nany, etc...Back in the day (long before HD) it was almost impossible to see the numbers on the Senators black jerseys on TV. I can only imagine how hard it was for the guys in the booth (especially at the speed hockey moves). That's why they changed the numbers to white for their second season.
