piratesfan16
I LOVE when players wear high socks, and I wish more guys on the Red Sox did so.Yes, I always like it when the Bucs wear their socks high. Unfortunatley, they never do. The last person I remember who wore knee-high socks was Lastings Milledge. My high school coach hates it but I don't care. I'm a rebel haha. It's absolutely insane how many "A"s are on this uniform. Four of them is insane.http://l.yimg.com/j/assets/p/sp/getty/67/fullj.b7d1bef021dcc2d22286237b1e168ddf/b7d1bef021dcc2d22286237b1e168ddf-getty-143145633.jpg
Dexter Morgan
I love the way the Yankees haven't changed their uniforms much at all. But there are still "throw throw throw" backs they can wear once in a while.. it wont hurt anyone.A few I would like to see:1904 New York Highlanders:1927 New York Yankees
BJ Sands
Slightly O/T but I find myself waiting for Blue Jays highlights just to see their uniforms. I cannot remember a team in any sport hitting a redesign out of the park the way they did.
marlinfan
Agreed. I was watching their game tonight and coud not stop looking at the unis. The numbers on back really distinctive and visually appealing. 1997 | 2003
Sport
Last week I looked at the MLB app on my phone to check the scores and I saw the Blue Jays-Orioles matchup. The two logos next to each other almost brought a tear to my eye. This season might be the most attractive that Major League Baseball teams have ever dressed. Korkie
The new Padres uniforms are awful. I hate the letters and numbering on the back. It just looks so cheap. This:is much more distinctive than this: "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.Tyler: That's neat.Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.
Dexter Morgan
@MarcCarig No numbers on Highlanders jerseys today. Old school base ball!
epper
The Padres have the worst identity (or lack thereof) in the Majors now. So much potential wasted.
waltere
The problem with the Padres (hell and the Rays too, since they often get criticised for basically the same thing) isn't that they're actually in & of themselves bad, just that they're bland, they both look like generic baseball teams from a movie. The Astros & Marlins on the other hand, actually look, you know, BAD. 1 hour ago, BringBackTheVet said: sorry sweetie, but I don't suck minor-league d CCSLC Post of the day September 3rd 2012

Matito
I hate both these teams and I'm loving this game. Beautiful uni matchup. No numbers on the back and both teams' striped socks is enough to overlook the MLB logo on the caps and the Majestic logo on the sleeve.
sportstar1212
I'm watching the Yankees-Red Sox game and I love how the jerseys have no names or numbers. Now that's what I call old school!
xTr1pleXx
The throwback uniforms in this game are absoutely stunning. Not saying this out of bias (as a Yankee fan), but I think the Yanks' 1912 throwbacks are stealing the show today. They're some of the coolest road uniform throwbacks I've ever seen. Also quite surreal to see the Yanks wearing throwbacks, or anything other than the normal uniforms. After years of seeing other teams wearing throwbacks, it's unbelievably odd to see mine finally do it.(Also, this confirms my desire to see the Yanks move to the pre-1973 road uniforms permanently, which featured no white outlines. HDTV has completely eliminated the need for white outlines on a road uniform. The midnight blue lettering against the gray jersey looks great.) 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
ksupilot
Great uni matchup. May not do much for merch sales, but the on field product is great. Love the high socks as well! Wish more players still wore that style today.
scottysprings
What an awesome looking game. Good on both teams for putting this matchup together.

I've always thought that Boston's current road uniform had a great look with the dark blue letters on the grey jersey.
