LMU
OK, yeah, I've seen that used on Dodger broadcasts. Am I to assume (those with the 411 feel free to chime in) that they're ditching the home plate wave logo?
Fox
Blue Jays got it right, just like I was expecting. Can't wait to see the uniforms!!
floydnimrod
I would love it if the Blue Jays actually used the arched block for wordmarks. I think it looks great. Mancakes: The Bandhttps://twitter.com/FloydNimrod
DCDuck
I'm loving that Jays logo. I dunno if the leaf is even necessary, really. It just seems supplanted on there.
The_Admiral
I don't think that's what "supplanted" means. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

FiddySicks
So the Padres really are going to switch to navy and red? Really? Are you freaking serious? They're already the most irrelevant team in the league as it is, now they have to switch to a color scheme that half of the league already uses? They should just be contracted. I agree I am tired of navy and red being used, but in the Padres case they are located near the US Marines Camp Pendleton base so Red, white & navy is somewhat fitting. Still, would have liked to have seen some form of the gold & brown (or even orange) make a comeback.
Legend
Not a fan of the light blue in the Jays new logo. I'm so sick of that color. It's like the "retro" white/tan the NHL keeps using. When do teams decide to share a similar color?I realize this was in the old Blue Jays colors, but their current black look was much more modern and improved. Yet another team going throwback with colors that don't appeal to me at least.
Gothamite
I realize this was in the old Blue Jays colors, but their current black look was much more modern and improved. I think you would find yourself in the vast minority there. Especially among Blue Jay fans. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. Has this been confirmed? If so, that's a bad idea on their part since the fanbase has been hoping for brown and yellow. I mean, if the Redskins made the 70th anniversary unis in brown and gold, nobody would say they were returning to their old colors.

Chris said someone was getting navy/red/white next season, and I asked if that meant Padres. But the Toronto logo looks like it is navy, not royal, so maybe that's what he meant. Honestly, the Jays could have done much worse than this, I'm pretty happy with the logo.

They always wear camo. Going to navy and red to further pay tribute would be way over the top. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
