So it is possible that some gun guy could see the gun on the uniform and something could short circuit through his CHL brain making the whole affair just terrible. Don't remember the Rockies ever having purple caps with black brims. Certainly haven't worn them since New Era redesigned the hats. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Someone here once posted the Pirates alternate with a red outline instead of a white one, and I've seen a handful if A's road caps in white rather than yellow.
