Bouj
Finally the PC police lose one!Seriously? Nevermind that many of us who are usually branded as "PC police" (a term used by weak-minded people who can't take a dissenting point of view at face-value, but I digress) didn't have a problem with the gun and thought it was hypocritical to ban it under the guise of "family friendliness" with all the ads for beer and impotence erectile dysfunction drugs kids can see at any ballpark. This is where I would start the slow clap for this comment. Spot on.It's still up on the air though: MLB just told the Astros it was their decision now. Crane has repeatedly said he wants the jersey to have the pistol. The fans overwhelmingly want the pistol on the jersey. But until they announce it later today, I am holding off on celebrating the return of the pistol. Go Astros!Go Texans!Go Rockets!Go Javelinas! Gothamite
I feel the opposite - I prefer the primary logo wordmark to the jersey script, but that "Los Angeles" mark is too wispy and insubstantial to work on the road jerseys. The more I look at it, the more I agree. Both wordmarks are far too thin to work on a jersey. The more I look at the Dodgers' original 1938 wordmark, the more I think it could work on either application.I like the original tail so much better than the wordmark they're using now. illini1
I really wish the Cardinals would go back to these uniforms full time. The only change they would need to make is to use the current wordmark and Birds on the Bat.

The only change they would need to make is to use the current wordmark and Birds on the Bat. Not full time. As an alternate? Maybe. The jersey they wear now is far superior. Yeah, I think Lukas and maybe Henderson did something for Uniwatch a little while back pointing out how the wordmark has dropped like 3 inches from the McGwire era to the last few years. Weird. NYYNYR
Quick ST thoughts:= Mets look gorgeous in these royal-blue unis= Tigers look odd with their road unis but home batting helmets= Cardinals, on the contrary, look even better with the home hats/ helmets on the road grays. I want to see the Mets wear those new BPs as home alts a few times this year. And with all the positive feedback of the Cards' road uni/red cap combo, why have they not used it in the regular season yet? Those navy caps and helmets are ugly. Not long ago I would have thought this belonged in the unpopular opinions thread, but now not so much. From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo.

Those navy caps and helmets are ugly.I think just because that's the way they've always done it and that'll be that. I think the Cardinals would look much better with red caps on the road and "St. Louis" under the bat, but people seem pleased with the status quo.Oh, and the Tigers should use the white D on the road, with or without the extraneous white trim on the uniforms. Stands out better against the navy blue than the burnt orange does. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Did examples if identical sized game worn jerseys. I'm on my phone and cant
McCall
Cardinals current uniforms need NO changes. The birds on the bat standout well enough on their own that the lack of piping is no issue. Besides, them and the A's, two of the best uniforms in baseball, are also the only two with no piping/striping/pinstripes on their primary home or roads. And they also do NOT need to ditch the road cap. It actually has a longer history than the red. Plus, they'd look too much like the Phillies, Angels and basically the Reds, who all where red caps at home and road. The Cardinals need not change a thing. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
