AlaskaAJ
Seems fair enough. I really can't see the Angels losing that many games though. I think they can definetly keep pace with the A's.Here's mine.AL EASTRed Sox - Rays (WC) - Blue Jays - Yankees - OriolesAL CENTRALTigers - Twins - White Sox - Royals - IndiansAL WESTA's - Rangers - Angels - MarinersNL EastPhillies - Braves - Marlins - Nationals - MetsNL CENTRALBrewers - Reds - Cardinals - Cubs - Pirates - AstrosNL WESTRockies - Giants (WC) - Padres - Dodgers - Dbacks
Lights Out
Wait a minute...Felix Hernandez should sue the Mariners for lack of support. He was able to win a Cy Young despite a mediocre 14-13 record last year, but the losses and lack of wins had more to do with he Mariners anemic line up....is Tank finally admitting that a pitcher's win/loss record is influenced by their offense? Progress! POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
NJTank
I will admit that, but I still dont think Felix should have won the Cy Young. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Lights Out
How do you figure that? In most other pitching stats he ranked at or near the top. He had a dominating individual season but unfortunately shared a team with one of the worst offenses in the modern era of baseball. NJTank
I just liked David Price's stats better and I view the Cy Young almost as a Most Valuable Pitcher and Price itched under more pressure. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
dfwabel
I just liked David Price's stats better and I view the Cy Young almost as a Most Valuable Pitcher and Price itched under more pressure. How much more pressure is there than knowing that you have to throw a complete game at worse or even a shutout for not only for you to earn a statistical win, but also an actual one? Lights Out
Because if it doesn't happen in New York or Boston, it's meaningless. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
Unocal
From 105 losses in last year's preview to 89- that means Frank's expectations for the Mets are a bit less disastrous.
