Gothamite
There's no noble cause so pure it can't be pandered to by a massive corporate marketing department.
loogodude90
A couple of years ago (maybe even up through last year, I'm not really sure), the Bobcats, Nuggets, and Bulls (am I missing any team?) would wear green jerseys for environmental awareness in early April. Today, neither the Nuggets nor Bobcats wore green jerseys, so I'm assuming the NBA doesn't go that far anymore. I guess it's just green headbands and/or shoes now. CubsFanBudMan
Maybe they got the hint that producing a set of one-off uniforms rather than reusing an existing set wasn't so "green."
