Dallas Stars Jersey

Wow. Loved It. Just take off that gray box below the number.

That's the stitching for the fight strap. It keeps the jersey from getting pulled over the head in a fight.

Really nice Stars concept. I like that you are moving the gold to prominence. I seems like the stars don't know what to do. Any color they use, they use it so sparingly it's useless.

That's a nice Boston concept you have there. I mean Pittsburgh. Anaheim? Wait, Dallas? Really?

It's a nice jersey, but it's really generic. You could slap any of the above logos on there and it would still work, even if the golds didn't match up perfectly. It needs something to set it apart. More distinctive striping, the return of green, a unique font, whatever. It needs something to set it apart, without going nuts. This is one of those cases where you're not wrong, it just isn't exactly right yet, either. Keep at it.

If you want to forget about the North Stars, you have to get rid of that logo.

Didn't they only use it for two years? Dallas has used it longer. It's the Dallas Stars' logo now and is usually identified as such by most, excepting folks living in the past.

Nice jersey but I'd like to see green in there since it's so underused in the NHL.

Fact is, its a Minnesota North Stars logo, and as far as I can see, it's very similar to the star from the N logo.

Really like this concept. You've brought the early to mid 90's striping back and adapted it nicely to the Edge Jersey. But then again, I don't for the life of me see the logic in ditching the Green. Green Gold and Black is a fresh unique colour scheme that isn't used by any other team in the NHL. Why ditch it now? Removing it from the logo in particular makes it look flat. Also the white outline around the gold edges of the star is unnecessary because the Gold contrasts with Black already.

Clean and professional, but I don't see it as an upgrade. As others have said, it needs green. The black star definitely gets lost on the black jersey, maybe throw some green in between your stripes, and in between the white and gold on the numbers.

Even if you restricted green to the main crest and shoulder patches you'd have a great jersey. It would be similar to how the original jerseys only used gold on logos and not the stripes.
