Erin go braugh!

Recommended Posts

here are the lyrics in both English (The Soldier's Song) and Gaelic (Amhrán Na BhFiann)

Soldiers are we whose lives are pledged to Ireland;

Some have come from a land beyond the wave,

Sworn to be free,

No more our ancient sire land

Shall shelter the despot or the slave.

Tonight we man the gap of danger,

In Erin's cause, come woe or weal,

'Mid cannons' roar and rifles peal,

We'll chant a soldier's song.

Sinne Fianna Fáil a tá faoi gheall ag Éirinn,

Buíon dár slua thar toinn do ráinig chughainn,

Faoi mhóid bheith saor,

Seantír ár sinsear feasta

Ní fhágfar faoin tiorán ná faoin tráill.

Anocht a théam sa bhearna bhaoil,

Le gean ar Ghaeil chun báis nó saoil

Le guna scréach faoi lámhach na bpiléar

Seo libh canaig amhrán na bhFiann.

and to keep with topic, here are three Irish national team concepts Ive done. COPY AND PASTE THE SHORTCUTS!

baseball, hockey*, football

*not really my own concept, but an actual depiction of the Irish hockey team's uniforms. I just added the shamrocks on the shoulders and the nike features (mesh, wishbone neck)

ERIN GO BRAUGH!  Now, where's the Guiness!  :D

I like 'em. Especially the baseball, the Gothic-type I is pretty cool. The football is also nice, the wrap-around helmet is sweet and I like the font you used for the wordmark "Ireland Gridiron Football". The harp-on-shield logo is very cool too. Nice job!

Great jerseys - being Irish, I love 'em.  My son saw them yesterday and he thought they were great.  Fact is he's in Ireland as I write.

Have a great week SHB - KC loves ya baby! :D
