NJTank Posted May 7, 2004 Author Share Posted May 7, 2004 62nd Round is correct and the Piazza's father and Lasorda are close firends Lasorda is the godfather of Mike's brothe rand it was out of a favor to Tommy Lasorda that he was even selected in the 62nd round. As for Lasorda being evil I have to say I disagree I hate the Dodgers too for abandoning Brooklyn, but Lasorda is a great embassador to the game.
