With Scott Howson I've never heard a rumor that came true though. That said, I think he knows this off-season will determine his future with the team so I don't expect him to do nothing like he did last off-season.Jeff Carter is as good as gone. Not sure about the Columbus thing, but he's certainly going to be the high-priced guy who gets the boot. His kids go to school in OC. Teemu even lists his hometown as Coto de Caza now. It's Ducks or retirement, and even in retirement, he's living here. He's said as much. He'll keep going to Finland in the summers like always to visit family/friends and such, but he's here now. And I'm sure if he were to retire, the Ducks would offer him a job to stay with the Ducks in some capacity just like they did with Scott Niedermayer.I'm pretty sure the Ducks were slated to be visiting Atlanta, and now Winnipeg, next year anyways.
