Anything from HockeyBuzz take with a massive grain of salt. Even better don't believe anything Eklund or his cronies say.

Do Hawk fans really want another old dude around. I mean Andrew Brunette is good enough right?

I dunno if there's any merit to this. Madden's already got his family up in Minny, if he doesn't end up returning there he may just retire.

Three goalies for the farm team, huh?

Anyone else thinking Schneider's headed east?

That's pretty much the only option from Vancouver, isn't it?

I was hoping that would go without saying :D

Most of that is things we've already speculated on based on a time-zone alignment (Pacific/Mountain, Central+1 East team, Detroit/Columbus/Nashville issue, then the Eastern cluster :censored: ) So, it could be completely possible that Leipold could be just confirming that major speculation we've had on that, and really only reinforcing the Western alignments we've already rehashed several times.

The thing in there that was a little new, and something myself and countless others are on board for, is the return of the balanced schedule. I think we all want that,

Stinks for Chicago if they are the lone Original 6 Team in their Conference

Even so, if the balanced schedule is to come back, they'll still get two games against each of the other six (10 Original Six games).

Like we've all seen, the alignment for the West is easy, and that's probably what's going to come of it. It's the East that has the issues as far as whether it's Detroit/Nashville/Columbus, the distance of Tampa/Florida from the rest of the conference, and the jumble in the northeast.

OK, if this happens either Nashville or Minnesota need to trade their entire roster, coaching staff, and team philosophy to somebody else (preferably a team that doesn't umm..."do the Ackbar") straight up. Please?

/Hates that division, and its not the good hate.
