MattMilone
I decided to name this "Updating," for a reason. I think the term "rebrand" is thrown around a lot and to be honest, it's something college athletic departments just don't do often. ASU is a rebrand, Washington State is an update. At least that's how I tend to view it. For the most part, these are updates. I think Pitt is a really interesting team to start with. They have a case of "iconically ugly uniforms" in their history, a controversial "old gold > yellow" switcheroo, and a recent uniform update that seems to have only been designed from the waist down. I tried every yellow combination under the sun and actually ended up liking a "old gold" type swatch the best against their current navy. In terms of uniform design, I wanted to evoke their history by using an interpretation of those iconic "Marino" uniforms that also didn't look god awful in five seasons (when the throwback novelty would start to wear out). I wanted to try and create a uniform stripe system that didn't *require* all the shirt and pant stripes to be exactly the same (ala the Ohio State home uniform) but were they still made sense together and didn't feel tacked on. Also, thought on the arrangement of the away jerseys? I really did want to subtly work their old style back into the set, but I'm not totally sold on the away top. I think it might be one of those "amazing or total garbage" type of things.I also made an odd decision in terms of font. I really didn't like the Rivalry Pro Combat uni's Pitt sported at WVU last year, but in just playing around with different ideas I found I really liked the font on this set of jerseys. To me at least, it somehow in a backward sorta way, kinda matched the design. Maybe I'm seeing things and it looks like , but I decided to keep the font in to see what people thought of it.Lastly, how could I not include a fauxback of those Marino jerseys. Dig in. piratesfan16
The throwback makes me wanna cry, lol. That is exactly what the Panthers should use. The Home and Road are very good. I'm not a fan of the white on white for the Panthers. GREAT job.
drdougfresh
Great work, I like that you carried over the Pro Combat font from last year-- thought it was 100% Pittsburgh. I used it on my NFL concepts for the Steelers too!

AnythingChicago
Pitt: Clean, simple, and definitely an upgrade. 9/10.
JSS
I'm also a huge fan of how you eliminated the shadowing on the block PITT look. Add a stripe to the helmets and you've got pretty close to perfection.
GeauxColonels
I definitely like this concept. LOVE the use of the Pro Combat number font. However, I would eliminate the gold number outline on the white away jerseys just for the sake of a little more consistency with the home jerseys. I don't think the gold shows up too well anyway as the outline color on a white jersey.
Buster
The last one is perfect. Make that the primary set and you have a huge winner.I don't understand what you're trying to do with the numbers on the main sets. They look like they're being hung up on hooks or something. Great looking template on all.

DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
All the designs beat what they currently have in my opinion, but the throwback especially looks great. Can't wait to see WVU.
Drakonius26
I already love this concept, clean and professional looking, and you really made those pro combat numbers work with your concept, so I like that. The last one is my favorite, as it seems to be with everybody else, so keep up the good work.
