Saintsfan
Sorry to dredge this back up, but Jim Nantz guested on the BBC's coverage of the Open Golf. I have to say I thought he was really good. Generous, thoughtful, sympathetic to the players. 2011/12 WFL Champions

Fox
Hate to be biased, but love the local announcers: Don Orisllo (Red Sox) and Tommy Heinsohn (Celtics)-Mike Breen-Joe Buck-John Milleras for other announcers, I always liked Harry Kalas, Vin Scully, and I don't know his name but the SF Giants announcer that says "outta hereeeee!" MadmanLA
I don't know his name but the SF Giants announcer that says "outta hereeeee!"That would be Duane Kuiper, the Giants' regular TV voice...him and Jon Miller trade positions whenever they have games on the NBC/over-the-air Giants network, with Kuiper doing play-by-play on the radio network. I catch him and Mike Krukow on occasion on Extra Innings or if their broadcasts are simulcast on MLB Network. They also did commentary for MLB's MVP Baseball video games from '05-08. They're quite entertaining. His brother, Glen, is the regular TV play-by-play voice for the Oakland A's.

TheClevelandHockey
Listening to Tom Hamilton will make you want to root for the Indians. He is a HOF broadcaster easy. We have that aspect of the game so good here in Cleveland. What really gets me is the "great fan" stuff. It's sad to think of our country as a "Steeler Nation", because that would mean that we're a country of near-sighted inbreds from the mountains that can't speak competent English.Let's go Brownies! You mad because the Tribe is stylin' on you?
