You're also missing the TATC caps. The Mets had one, so did the Brewers, Mariners and Royals, but I'm having trouble remembering if any other clubs did.

I'm pretty sure the Giants did as well. If my memory is correct, it was a white crown, black bill and black SF.

EDIT: Yup

Yeah your missing this mets.png

Also if im not mistaken, I believe the original Mets blue hats were slightly darker from 1962 to the early 1990's when they switch from navy to electric blue. Maybe colorwerx could verify that?

Also the hats they wore after 911 PDFDcaps.jpg

The Red Sox did - they used the "hanging sox" logo.

Just one question: Didn't the Kansas City A's also wear a navy blue cap with a red interlocking KC in block letters without serifs? I seem to remember that from baseball cards.

That was a guess on the baseball card company's part as to what their caps were going to look like. Those, while they are sold on MLB.com I think, were never actually worn.

If you have a larger version of the Mariners late 80s - early 90s S (after the second spear), could you please send it my way/add it to the site? I've been looking for it forever!!

I recolored the logo from here, but it came out pretty sloppy. It's less noticeable when it's small like that. I would like that too, maybe you could hop over to the requests board? There are people on this forum who are waaaay better at tracing logos than me.

I mentioned earlier I'm not including TATC or other one-time promotions. If the team wore it for a whole year, it's on there.

This is fantastic. But the Rockies never wore a purple hat with a silver and purple CR. Great work though!

I wasn't sure about that one, but it's listed here so I included it. If anyone has a photo of that logo please put it up here. Otherwise I'll take it off when I update this. Same goes for the white Dodgers cap.

I AM going to update this, to include the grey KC logo, the brick Astros Texas logo, and the Phillies BP with the stars. Also probably to get rid of the aforementioned Rockies logo if we can't find proof it existed. Any other changes before I make these updates?

In 1950, the Athletics wore gold trim on their uniforms to pay tribute to Connie Mack's 50 years as manager. I've seen pictures of the cap, which had the gold trim around the white "A", but can't find it right now. Here is a picture of the jersey and a 1951 Bowman card, along with the Dressed To The Nines entry for the 1950 team...

This a great project. I love it. Great job, so far!

A couple to possibly add:

Reds had an oval non-wishbone C that was red with navy outline from 1961-1966. Worn on gray cap and white red pin-striped caps.

Athletics coaches/managers wore white caps with similar logos as green caps from at least 1966-1976.

As for the 1976 caps. I KNOW the Pirates wore them all season. The Cardinals wore them most of the season. The Mets wore them occasionally as - I think - the Giants. The Phillies wore them the opening week of the season with the intent of wearing them for most of the season. They were swept by the Pirates in their home opening series and didn't wear them again.

I THINK the Expos wore a white pillbox cap (blue visor) on occasion as well.

Missing are all those stupid red white and blue holiday cap logos.

Well, I wouldn't say that anyone is missing them...

I think we can all agree that no one likes those, but if you wanted to add some of them I attempted to render them last summer
