The Athletics green is one of the sharpest looking unis in the game right now, and my personal favorite. The balance they have now is great. Although on the road, I wish they had kept their solid green batting helmets as well. But now since the win streak is over, I hope the A's just go back to either the green tops or the road grays. It was kind of funny how Gio Gonzalez mourned their passing:"I think it's just sad to see the gold jerseys die like that but we battled and did a great job," Gonzalez said. "I think this is one of my favorite games that I've been part of. The way we battled, the way we fought shows that we have signs of life and that we can definitely do this..."He's also quoted earlier in the story: "Gold Glove, gold jersey. Every MLB team except for the A's has either red, blue or black in their logo. In that sense, maybe that's why people like the A's so much -- because they're not like everyone else. Go A's!
