Speaking of the Clippers, I'm surprised that nobody ever mentions their uniform from the '06 preseason trip to Europe as a great use of RWB. I thought it looked fantastic.

Speaking for everyone ever... not sure anyone knew those existed, chap. Seeing as no one follows the Clippers, especially during preseason games.

I think the Dodgers do it really well. Not much red, but the hint of it makes it work just fine in my opinion

Back in 2001, the A's had a RWB home jersey for ID4. I haven't found a picture of it, but that was a cool use of the colors without cheapening it with a lame generic cap

Go A's!

Beat me to it, DCiDHwoaD, nobody watches the Clippers so nobody knew they existed. They aren't bad, though.

Oh, I'm perfectly willing to admit they're obscure, but plenty of obscure uniforms are mentioned on here. And if nobody here knew about them, well, they do now.

Clippers preseason games might be the least cared sporting events of all time

Looking at the stands in the Coliseum, I'm pretty sure the average Oakland A's game is the least cared-about sporting event of all time. I mean, at least the Clippers don't have to hide entire sections of empty seats with an ugly tarp:

I think I died a little inside at the sight of that photo.

Still one of the all-time best uniform sets ever in the history of North American professional sports. Few can beat it.

You're a :censored:ing moron. Even with the tarp it holds over 36,000. And the A's have higher attendance than the Clippers

Really? Because the Clippers filled roughly 93% of the Staples Center on average all season long, whereas the A's struggle to fill even half their capacity even with the tarp. Bottom line: if the A's were really cared about, you'd be filling a lot more than 50% of your stadium's capacity and you really would have way more people at the games on average than the Clippers.

So, how 'bout those red/white/blue uniforms?

Really? Well maybe because baseball fans dont want to sit that high up and watch a game or stay in the California heat in the summer.
