darkhaha
For the Saints...Failing that, I'd like them to 1) go back to that shade of gold, 2) either add some stripes to the black pants or do away with them, and 3) add white to the stripe on the gold pants to match the helmet stripe. That, my friends, would add up to the best Saints look ever.Rams too for that matter. I can't believe I'm the only one around here who thinks the Rams old blue and white uniforms are their best look. That helmet is killer.Totally agree! I've seen other photos from this game, and without a doubt this is one of my favorite uni matchups in NFL history... BBTV
Braves need to bring back the vertical-arched NOBs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the current archNot that I disagree, but could you have possibly found a worse example? The nameplate is cut for radially-arched letters, and the last N is a little... odd. Lights Out
The Rangers need to bring back their '90s look - it was a more classy, refined version of the current uniforms.I wouldn't be opposed to these coming back as an alternate, though: POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

xTr1pleXx
With the rise of HDTV, a lot of teams are taking the white outlines off their road uniforms (Tigers and Phillies, I'm begging you). I wouldn't mind if the Yanks returned to their old pre-1973 road uniforms.(With the current number font, matching the home uniform.)Always liked those uniforms. I like the current Yanks road uniforms too and am perfectly fine with them keeping it, but I wouldn't mind seeing these be brought back out. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
The_Admiral
Yeah, something looks so '70s about the Yanks' roads. Those would be much better. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
TheOldRoman
I never had a problem with the white outline on the Yankees' road set. I much prefer the previous Dodgers' road set (minus the blue buttons). Though white outlines aren't necessary when the numbers use two team colors (Tigers road), I think they add something in the case of the Yankees and Dodgers. The old set worked nicely because the wool added depth to the uniform. Unless Majestic can come up with a gray flannel pattern like Underarmour's, I think the Yankees' roads without white would look too boring. Lights Out
The sleeve stripes are really clunky. These would be perfect with just the spear on the sleeves. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

xTr1pleXx
Yeah, something looks so '70s about the Yanks' roads. Those would be much better. For me, it's the stripes on the sleeves (Phillies suffer somewhat from the same issue). The script doesn't look 70's to me, but the sleeves really don't seem to fit with a modern aesthetic. I'd actually be okay with keeping the current away jersey with the white outline, but dumping the sleeve stripes (I'd prefer completely dumping the white outline and going back to the old away jersey though).I don't think those uniforms would be too boring on a modern fabric. It would be like Boston's current away jersey, which honestly looks more like it could be a Yankees away jersey than a Red Sox one. Plus, the simple "NEW YORK" in dark blue capital letters on a gray background is very bold looking. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
Billy B
I love the 70s style thick sleeve stripes on the Yankees and White Sox. The only way I think the Yankees look could improve by ditching the white on the road is if they use a gray jersey similar to the University of Missouri's that makes the gray look like flannel.
