sportsfan9580
Carl Pavano is wearing a New Balance undershirt beneath his jersey. Is it MLB-sponsored? I thought Nike was the only brand players wore during gamedays. Any info would be appreciated.
Audiodrama
I don't think MLB players are *required* to wear Nike under-apparel; I think it's just supplied to them.
north dakota
New Balance has recently made some deals with the MLB. I know New Balance is the official shoe of MLB umpires and it is also the official footwear and apparel provider for the Red Sox, but I am not sure about the Twins. Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.
phutmasterflex
Undershirts, to my knowledge, are not required to be only Nike. As long as it complies with the team uniform colors, any undershirt is fine really. Go A's!
pcgd
Nike owns the undershirts license. Players can wear whatever but no other manufacture logo can appear. Similar to NFL, only NFL equipment (by reebok) can been seen as undergarments.
