Discrim Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Nowadays, Allentown, PA is home to the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. Several years ago, though, the Allentown Ambassadors were the home team. Without all that much ado, here goes what will probably be the only Ambassadors concept ever.Finding their logos was, as Shikamaru would put it, troublesome (and, if not for that one Northern League fansite still being up, woulda been impossible). Had to go back to the days when I traced every logo I could get my hands on (thus, a few parts of both Uncle Baseball and the A were improvised, mainly the seams). Anyways, I always found the name interesting, and decided to put something toghether for em. Royal blue, red and midnight navy are the colors used here, and the stars on the pants read ALLENTOWN (white) or AMBASSADORS (gray). Both alts are vests. Have your say. How the hell does that work?I love the concept I also like the stars with the team and city names running down the pants. As for the Bears/Packers banners in your sig... they're almost touching! (I actually went to one Ambassadors game.)However, my ideal name for a team in the Lehigh Valley would be the Lincolns, so it could represent all three cities in the area.
