LoligerBS Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Here's the old one... And here's the new one...
xTr1pleXx Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Looks like they wanted to get rid of the "NFL" on there. Wonder if that's because the Hall wants to promote themselves more, or was done in case the strike was still going on and they wanted to avoid using "NFL" imagery, especially on former players.Hope it's the latter. 1923 1927 1928 1932 1936 1937 1938 1939 1941 1943 1947 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 1956 1958 1961 1962 1977 1978 1996 1998 1999 2000 2009
BBTV Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Hard to judge if an upgrade or not without seeing the logos up close. What was up with Deion wearing the UA on his lapel? I found that to be extremely tacky. The HOF (even football's) should be better than to allow sponsorships on the blazers. phutmasterflex Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 UA provided his shoes and also sponsors his youth football team. I can understand why he wore it, although I don't think he should have Go A's!
Gothamite Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Selling ad space on a Hall of Fame blazer? Selling out the induction ceremony, and the game itself?Tacky indeed, but hardly surprising from him. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

MJWalker45 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Since it's the pro football hall of fame, not the NFL Hall of Fame the change makes sense. Though to be fair, the only members to the hall have only come from the NFL and AFL. They probably won't add Arena League players since they have their own hall, even though the hall contains Arena, AAFC, XFL, CFL and other leagues memorabilia. And the hall should not allow UA, Nike or other sponsors on their jackets.
